Parco Cavalonga

Ancient farmhouse placed inside of a small real estate surrounded by green hills covered with citrus fruit orchards, oaks and secular olive trees and extending on the bank of the torrente Zappardino (stream Zappardino), in the vicinity of Gioiosa Marea, on the northern coast of Sicily. In its outskirts there are interesting localities such as Tindari, Capo d'Orlando, Cefalù, the Aeolian Islands and long sandy beaches alternating to cliffs and extending on a stretch of coast among the most beautiful all over Sicily. The architectural group - coming out from the restoration of an ancient oil-mill - is made up of a two-storeyed building: at the ground floor - with access from the front side of the building - there are the two lovely lodgings available for the guests while at the first floor - with access from the backside - extends the owner's house which is occasionally inhabited by its owners. Both apartments are independent and look on to the large terrace and to the garden, enlighten at night and well-equipped (furniture, barbecue, external kitchenette, laundry). The insides offer luminous and fresh rooms which are cosy, well-divided and furnished with rustic style furniture of sober elegance. Although the property is next to a secondary road its location is all the same a quiet and sunny one.
