Formally a country manor, this ancient property at the foot of Erice dates back to 1637. Converted into an attractive hotel the Baglio is sympathetically decorated with traditional antique terracotta tiled floors and wooden-beamed ceilings.

The bedrooms in the old building are simply but tastefully furnished in similar rustic style with iron bedsteads and the cool stone walls make air conditioning unnecessary.

A charming extension has recently been added, built around a courtyard in the traditional style of the old baglio and has a roof terrace with stunning views. Guests have a choice of a room in the old or new building.

Surrounded by rural countryside the hotel is in a quiet location with attractive gardens, swimming pool and sun terrace. The restaurant is popular for its good Sicilian cuisine.
