Corte del Sale is a large elegant country house just a few kilometres from Trapani, a town renowned for its beautiful historic centre and good choice of cafés, restaurants and boutiques.

The house with its good-size swimming pool is set among lush gardens with olive and lemon trees and exotic Mediterranean plants. It is surrounded by large terraces with breath-taking views over the countryside from Erice to the salt pans. Traditionally restored, the property evokes the aristocratic elegance of old Sicily.

The light, refined interior, with all mod cons, is furnished with antiques and stylishly decorated to create a warm, cosy atmosphere. On the ground floor the living area includes a spacious living room, a study, a dining room, a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom. The first floor contains a twin bedroom and two double bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms, a single bedroom and a further bathroom. An internal staircase leads up from the small sitting room to another bedroom with a French bed (120cm).

Corte del Sale is ideal for families or groups of friends in search of a relaxing holiday. The Egadi islands are easily reached by ferry from nearby Trapani and the towns of Erice and Marsala are a short drive away.
