As well as having a wealth of restaurants, bars and shops on your doorstep you are also just a few metres from the sea front, although the beach (which is sandy) is approximately 1500 metres away.

Hydrofoil services to the Egadi Islands can be reached on foot and Selinute, Erice and the famous salt pans with their characteristic windmills of Trapani can easily be reached by car.
