Cava Grande is a fine modern villa situated in a quiet, sunny position in Avola Antica, 30 kilometres south of Syracuse in southeast Sicily. In a lovely rural setting the property is sited next to the Cavagrande del Cassibile nature reserve and only a short drive away from the sea and from the towns of the Unesco-listed Noto Valley.

Recently renovated, the villa overlooks its beautiful saltwater pool and large, well-equipped terraces offering tranquil sea views. Spread over one level its modern interior features contemporary décor which includes a living area consisting of lounge, dining room and kitchen and three double bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms. The villa is well-equipped and has Wi-Fi, TV, washing machine and dishwasher.

An ideal property for a relaxing holiday in close contact with nature, Cava Grande is also well appointed for trekking and hiking lovers to follow the trails of the Cassibile reserve with its natural lakes and the trails of the nature reserves of Vendicari and Pantalica. Only a short drive away are the sandy beaches of Avola and Fontane Bianche, and the charming baroque towns of Noto, Modica, Ragusa, Syracuse and Ortigia.
