DAY 8 SATURDAY – Catania - Malta

After breakfast, at the appointed time transfer from Taormina to Catania airport for your flight to Valletta, Malta's capital city. Transfer to the hotel located in St Paul's Bay for dinner and overnight.

DAY 9 SUNDAY – Malta Marsaxlokk Market & The Blue Grotto

After brekafast visit the idyllic fishing village of Marsaxlokk with its unique character and local market. The tour continues with a visit to the Blue Grotto and nearby caves (supplement for the boat trip to be paid locally and subject to weather conditions). Explore one of Malta's unspoilt villages. The remainder of the day at leisure. Dinner at leisure and overnight at hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Dinner at leisure. Overnight in hotel at St Paul's Bay.

DAY 10 MONDAY – Malta "Valletta"

After breakfast enjoy a morning guided tour of Valletta - Malta's heritage-rich capital. Highlights include the Upper Barracca Gardens and St. John's Cathedral, home to a splendid Caravaggio painting as well as an intriguing museum. Take in an audiovisual show of Malta's fascinating history through the centuries. Lunch and afternoon at leisure. Dinner at leisure. Overnight in hotel at St Paul's Bay. Please note this excusion will take place in the afternoon during April, May, June and October.

DAY 11 TUESDAY – Malta "Mdina"

After breakfast Depart for a full day excursion the central part of Malta dominated by the medieval fortified city od Mdina, Malta's former capital city. Its narrow streets lead to the imposing bastions. Leaving Mdina through Greeks Gate you will stop at the early Christian catacombs in Rabat before proceeding to the cliffs at Dingli. Lunch in a local restaurant followed by a visit of the San Anton botanical gardens situated near the Presidential Palace. Time to visit the crafts centre at Ta'Qali and finally admire Mosta's majestic dome - one of the largest in Europe. Dinner at leisure. Overnight at hotel in St Paul's Bay.

DAY 12 WEDNESDAY

After breakfast the tour ends. Transfer to the airport at Valletta.
